Geotechnical Project Engineer

Siefert Associates, LLC is seeking a Geotechnical Project Engineer. This position works under the supervision of a Senior Geotechnical Project Engineer as a team member participating in all phases of a project, including the concept and design phases. A Geotechnical Project Engineer’s responsibilities include the preparation of engineering calculations, preparation of design drawings, and engineering reports. Site work includes inspection of as-built conditions, and monitoring of subsurface explorations & other relevant soil testing as needed.

 

Projects include support of excavation – sheet piling, solider piling, soil anchors, etc., cofferdams, slope stability – roadway embankments and soil slopes, retaining walls (GRES, concrete, masonry), pavement structures, pile foundations and shallow foundations, geotechnical investigations (bridges, buildings, embankments), waterfront structures, support and protection of utility structures, and geotechnical instrumentation and monitoring services.
