Schneider Electric has an opportunity for a AI Engineer (Intern) in our Foxboro, MA location.
Support Future Architecture Team in investigating AI and ML algorithms that can be implemented in a constrained (tiny) products/devices such as Sensors/Field Devices.

What do you get to do in this position?
- Investigate and identify all different models available for Sensor type of data
- Understand the different type of Sensor data available including different types of Sensor’s and prepare datasets to train the models
- Do mockup’s of models and document different performance results based the Sensor data
- Document Pros and Cons of different models
- Demo to Leadership team (including R&D VP, Sr. Directors and other R&D Directors).
- Excellent communication skills to provide update weekly updates to the team
- Must be self-starter
On September 9, 2021, U.S. Executive Order 14042 was issued, requiring all who are working in connection with federal contracts to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19, or have a company-approved medical or religious exemption. Since the Order was issued, the District Court of Georgia has placed a legal hold on the Mandate’s vaccine requirements in all states nationwide. As such, the vaccine requirements of the Mandate and the Policy are currently on HOLD for U.S. employees, partners, and vendors. If the legal hold is overturned, we will resume the process to comply with the Mandate and Policy and all Schneider Electric U.S.-based employees will be required to show proof of vaccination or have a company-approved medical or religious exemption. We will continue to monitor and comply with the legal decisions regarding the Mandate and adjust our Policy accordingly. Independent of the legal hold, we will continue to comply with customer vaccination requirements.

This job might be for you if:
- MSc
- BS in Engineering (nice to have) w/ specialization in AI/ML and Data Modeling
Preferred Skills
- Strong analytics and data mining experiencing
- Strong AI/ML experience including understanding the math behind the algorithms
- Experience with process design and re-engineering
- Excellent communication skills (verbal, written, presentations, social media) and ability to work with geographically dispersed and diverse team
- Excellent organizational skills and solution focus
- Proactive self-starter
