Site Civil Intern

Job Responsibilities
Pennoni is current seeking a Site Civil Intern. The position will primarily support staff and project-level engineers in all aspects of projects through conceptual/planning, preliminary design, detailed design, construction documentation, permitting documents and engineer reports. Responsibilities include:
- Assist project engineers in the preparation of land development plans for public and private clients.
- Preparation of site plans, including site grading, stormwater management and utility design for proposed land development projects.
- Preparation of permits applications and reports.
- Work in a collaborative multi-disciplinary team environment under the supervision of a senior Professional Engineer.
Requirements
- Working towards bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or similar
- Engineer Intern (EI) Certification is preferred but not required
- Experience in land development design using AutoCAD Civil 3D and involving grading, stormwater, sanitary sewer, and water line design is preferred but not required
