Civil Engineer

SPATCO is looking for an Entry Level Civil Engineer to join our growing environmental team. The entry level civil engineer will be responsible for assisting the environmental and engineering team members with a variety of projects including remediation projects, environmental site assessments, site cleanups, site inspections, and tank inspections. This is an entry level position with career advancement opportunities in multiple areas of the company.

  Essential Functions

· Develop detailed design drawings related to fueling systems, remediation and construction sites.

· Preparing and Implementing project plans.

· Researching and providing estimates for projects.

· Complete site surveys.

· Making recommendations or presenting alternative solutions to problems.

· Managing projects to ensure deadlines are met.

  

· Bachelor’s degree in civil or environmental engineering.

· CAD experience strongly preferred.

· Valid driver’s license.

· Be able to lift up to 50 lbs., work at medium heights, and be able to crouch, bend, and kneel.

· Strong work ethic

· Overnight/airline travel may be required up to 30% of the time.

· Work under time constraints efficiently and have the ability to work well with others.

· Follow all company procedures.
