Clean Operations and Infrastructure Engineering Intern

DHL currently has an exciting opportunity available for an Clean Operations and Infrastructure Engineering Intern, based out of Plantation, FLThis position will provide analytical support in the development of Business Case Analysis (BCA) processes for AM Regions capital investments.

Key Responsibilities for Clean Operations and Infrastructure Engineering Intern:
  • Contact and coordinate with stakeholders to support Clean Operations initiatives (Fleet, Facilities, Ground Support Equipment, etc.)
  • Support in communicating Sustainability initiatives and creating status reports
  • Perform Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) assessment of capital investments projects (Fleet, Facilities, Ground Support Equipment, etc.)
  • Ability to support reporting on AM Region Capital Investment utilizing our project management tool 
  • Automation of Reports and Dashboards to provide visibility on capital investments to the Americas Region
Qualifications - External
What skills & attributes are we looking for in a Clean Operations and  Infrastructure Engineering Intern?
  • Education path for BS/BA in related discipline – Environmental engineering, sustainability, Industrial engineering, data analytics, statistics, operations research
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel (Macros), Access, and SharePoint
  • Experience with data analytics tools such as Power BI
  • Focus to Detail
  • Analytical mindset
  • Leadership skills (proven in school)
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • Project Management
  • Motivated
  • Passion for excellence
  • Advantage:
  • Programming skills such as VBA, Python, XML or other related programming languages
  • Ability to develop and maintain SQL database
