Contract Editor (Engineering)
Accdon LLC is an innovative researching communication and scholarly publishing service company. It is looking for contract editors to join its academic editing team. Built upon a network of high-caliber editors, Accdon strives to help international researchers eliminate language barriers and see their work recognized and published in peer reviewed journals.
Job Title : Contract Editor (with Engineering background)
Position Description:
1. Provide edits on manuscripts originally written by international researchers:
- Enhance readability and the overall readiness for publication
- Improve the clarity, structural flow, and writing style of the paper, such as fine tuning the conclusion statement and establishing logical connections between sentences, paragraphs, and sections
2. Contract editors have the liberty to accept/decline assignments if there is a conflict of interest or time.
Qualification:
- BS or advanced degrees in engineering
- Previous editing experience serves as a plus, but not required
- Strong in academic writing
