Mechanical Engineering Intern

Responsibilities to include some or all of the following:
  • Design automated test fixtures and tooling parts and assemblies.
  • Create models, assemblies and drawings for tooling’s and products.
  • Perform thermal and stress simulation as required.
  • Perform tolerance stack up analysis.
  • Co-ordinate with vendor for part order and fabrication.
  • Assisting in building prototypes and testing.
  • Create detailed BOM drawings for assemblies.
  • Excellent hands-on, communication and team work skills required.
  • Interface with other engineers, scientist and subject matter experts in simulation and testing.

Minimum Qualifications
  • Qualified candidates will be enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree program in Mechanical Engineering or a related major. Students must be returning to school following the internship.

Desired Qualifications
  • Abilities in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Ansys Workbench, SolidWorks  and other software tools.
  • Should possess strong analytic and statistic skills, and have the ability to work independently.
  • Excellent hands-on, communication and team work skills required.
