Process Engineering Intern


Job Description
Seeking engineering or science major student to develop a solution to reduce etch particles which occurs during fabrication of GaAs power amplifier integrated circuits. The position requires student to have completed first two years of basic science and engineering courses. Initially intern will learn the fundamentals of etch processing, etch tools, wafer maps and typical defects found. Intern will monitor defects, categorize them and with engineering guidance, develop methods to find the root cause of etch particle defects.

Job Responsibilities
​​​Work with engineering team to review wafer defects
Summarize and categorize defects
Develop method to determine source of defects
Implement design of experiment to verify source of defects
Periodically summarize and present defect status and updates

Education & Experience
​​​Current student pursuing BS, MS or Ph.D. in science or engineering degree program
Comfortable with Excel
Good written and verbal presentation skills

Preferred Skills
Experience with wafer processing in clean room
