Electrical Controls Engineer

The Electrical Controls Engineer is responsible for organizing, generating, completing and updating documentation on existing and new equipment, including process, piping and wiring diagrams. Electrical system design including selection of control components and electrical devices for new and modified equipment. Verify system compliance to applicable electrical and safety codes. Work with maintenance during equipment installation, modification, startup and troubleshooting of equipment. Write and support PLC code and VB applications. Prepares capital expenditure requests, frequent interaction with outside suppliers and agencies, including regulatory personnel. Coordinates projects with people at various levels. Performs work with limited direct supervision.
