Construction Engineering Internship - Summer 2023

Internships are onsite at our Store Support Center in Ankeny, Iowa, where you'll volunteer within our community, attend social outings, hear from our senior leadership team, and make some pizzas, of course!
As an Intern, you will work with the Store Development & Construction team to design and permit new store locations, complete engineering plan review, assist with document management and reporting, and work with the construction team overseeing the building of a new store. Components of this role will include engineering design, engineering project management, construction project management, and other opportunities based on interns skills and abilities.
Qualifications:
- Currently working on completion of Bachelor's degree in related field
- 3.0 GPA or above
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Preferred knowledge of AutoCAD and/or Revit.
- Ability to travel and work on a construction job site
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills; able to manage priorities and workflow
- Ability to exercise independent judgment
- Proven ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines
