Engineering Overview 
This position reports to the Director of Asset Management and carries out responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws. 
 
The purpose of the role is to support Kerry in achieving reliable equipment and manufacturing systems to prevent failures, maximize operational performance and throughput, optimize cost, and extend asset lifecycles. 
 
Key Responsibilities 
What you'll do 
  • Provide support to manufacturing sites to develop, optimize and implement 
  • Preventative Maintenance (PM) programs 
  • Computer Maintenance Management Systems (SAP-PM) 
  • Best maintenance practices and standards 
  • Support manufacturing sites in implementing and executing their Maintenance Excellence Program 
  • Maintenance Fundamentals 
  • Reliability Centered Maintenance 
  • Operational Excellence 
  • Collaborate with sites to define Asset Criticality and Reliability Maintenance strategies 
  • Utilize and leverage Maintenance Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s) to optimize cost, identify gaps and identify opportunities to improve asset performance 
  • Support analysis of equipment and systems failures, using problem solving and continuous improvement tools (i.e. RCA, Fishbone, DMAIC and FMECA) 
  • Support Project teams during equipment selection and defining Preventative/Predictive Maintenance strategies for new assets and new acquisitions 
  • Support other functions with Maintenance and Reliability related inquires and expertise 
  • Develop as a Reliability engineer and a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Maintenance and Reliability subject areas 
  • Supports site capability building with assessment and evaluation of site maintenance staff, training and knowledge transfer to site maintenance teams

Qualifications and Skills 
What you'll need to be successful 
  • A Bachelor’s Degree Bachelor’s degree from a four-year accredited college or university in Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Chemical, Mechanical, Manufacturing, or equivalent 
  • Preferred background in Food & Beverage/Chemicals/Pharma/Manufacturing 
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) 
  • Ability to develop and deploy a disciplined approach to engineering and maintenance, with well-developed analytical and problem-solving skills 
  • Strong planning skills, and the ability to follow-up and successfully execute plans 
  • Continuous improvement mindset with high change agility 
  • Excellent interpersonal and communications skills, ability to influence, coach and develop colleagues not in a reporting relationship 
  • Results oriented and ability to deliver successful outcomes 
  • Ability to work independently across multiple sites and stakeholders, both internal and external 
  • Comfortable working on the factory floor and as part of a decentralized regional team 
  • A curious mindset 
  • Remotely based and available for frequent travel (up to 75%) within the North America region 
  • Minimum 3.25 GPA
