Electrical Engineer II

Use your knowledge of electrical engineering discipline, processes, and tools to help

Honeywell Woonsocket, RI manufacture innovative solutions that meet the evolving needs of our customers in the Aerospace, Medical and Manufacturing industries. You will work under general supervision and alongside some of the world's most talented engineers. You will contribute to the maintaining, redesign, automation and upgrading of complicated test and measurement equipment. You will be part of a group of highly committed professionals who provide expertise and ensure the success of complex engineering projects and programs.

Key Responsibilities
·         Maintains, redesigns, develops/tests/upgrades all aspects of electrical equipment, components, and machinery
·         Apply mathematical and engineering principles and methods to electrical system designs
·         May be responsible for installation and technical support of PLS based hardware and software
·         Idea generation
·         Brainstorm solutions
·         Team coordination
·         Risk analysis
·         Coordinate resolution
·         Project planning
·         Mentor technicians
·         Cost improvement analysis
·         Drive technical solutions
·         Perform specification review
·         Communicate non-compliance incidents
·         Prepare or update reports and documentation

YOU MUST HAVE

·         Bachelor’s Degree in engineering

·         3+ years of engineering experience

WE VALUE

·         Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering

·         Mechanical and Electrical design experience using various CAD software suites

·         Develop/modify software using National Instruments Labview

·         3+ years of experience working in electrical or mechanical engineering in a manufacturing environment

·         Greenbelt/DFSS certified

·         Ability to work independently

·         Willingness to learn new technologies

·         Eagerness to get involved in hands-on work

·         Proficient project management skills

·         Good knowledge of electronic automation industry

·         Cause identification/FMEA experience

·         Working knowledge of the National Electric Code

·         Use of computer-assisted equipment

·         Ability to Identify areas for technical improvement

·         Electrical and mechanical troubleshooting using electrical and mechanical measuring instruments

·         Capability to design/develop test fixtures (both electrical/mechanical)
