Engineering Intern Summer 2023
The Engineering Internship will allow the successful candidate to greatly enhance their real-life experiences and learn modern skill sets within the field that he/she is studying. It is an outstanding opportunity to get hands-on experience on the plant floor in the areas of troubleshooting techniques and engineering design.
The responsibilities of this position may include:
· Work with onsite Engineering to assist with several capital projects
· Update and modify various drawings, including P&IDs and Process Flow Diagrams
· Work with onsite team on optimization projects and engineering studies
· Troubleshoot production issues with process systems
· Learn how to size process systems and specify equipment such as pumps and valves
· Write scope documents and process descriptions
· Other engineering tasks as assigned
The requirements of this position include:
· The Engineering Intern should be enrolled in a Bachelor’s program and studying Chemical, Industrial or Mechanical engineering
· Students with a minimum of one year of major specific classes, preferred
