Packaging Engineering Co-Op Overview
As an AbbVie Packaging Engineering Co-op, you’ll participate in a paid, six-month program working on meaningful assignments that have a real impact on our business and patients worldwide. AbbVie’s Global Packaging organization offers you an opportunity to work in a variety of packaging formats and materials. Throughout the duration, there will be developmental and networking activities, along with housing and shuttle services for eligible students. Co-op’s will be expected to work from our North Chicago campus headquartered in north suburban Chicago, in accordance with company policy. 
 
 
Minimum Qualifications 
  • Pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in related discipline:
  • Bachelor of Science in Packaging, or related Engineering disciplines, (Chemical Engineering, Materials Science & Engineering, Mechanical Engineering)
  • Completed at least one year of college education before beginning internship
  • Must be enrolled in school the semester following your internship
  • Must be able to commit to a 6-month program at AbbVie at our North Chicago location.

Preferred Qualifications (Optional)
  • Strong academic performance, minimum cumulative GPA = 3.0/4.0
