Process Engineer

DENSO is currently looking for a Process Engineer who will handle Creation of TS Documentation (PFMEA, Control Plans & Process Control Charts) as well as well as Prepare & Present Project Justification for Executive Approval, Considering Safety, Quality, Cost and Delivery.


Duties/Responsibilities: 
  • New Mold Introduction
  • Creation of TS Documentation (PFMEA, Control Plans & Process Control Charts)
  • Development of Molding Process & Auxilary Equipment Programming
  • Lead Rigorous Mold Trials to Determine Potential Problems and Implement Corrective Actions
  • Process Capabiltiy Data Collection and Analysis
  • Design and Implementation of Jigs and Checkers
  • Production Equipment Procurement from Concept thru Completion
  • Development of Process Layout & Flow
  • Creation of Detailed Equipment Specifications
  • Prepare & Present Project Justification for Executive Approval, Considering Safety, Quality, Cost and Delivery
  • Oversee Design, Fabrication, and Installation
  • Lead Buy-off and Training of Production & Maintenance
  • Technical Troubleshooting of Injection Mold & Production Equipment Related Issues
  • Forecast Capacity Requirements for Long Term Planning of Molding Areas
  • Lead Cross-Functional Team Kaizen Activities (for Improvements in Productivity, Quality, Safety, and Others)
  • Provide Input for Dept. KPI's/G&O's and Budget Planning 
 
Requirements: 
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Plastics Engineering Tech.(4-yrs)
  • Co-op or manufacturing related experience
  • Experience with CAD & Microsoft Office
  • Highly Motivated & Technically Competent
  • Innovative Problem Solver
  • Good Communication Skills
  • Ability to Work in a Team Environment
  • Ability to Multitask
  • Willingness to Work Overtime When Required
  • Willingness to Travel (to Support Other DENSO Group Companies, Customers, Suppliers, etc.)
