What I liked
I liked the fact that I was working in the jobsite, so instead of just being stuck at home I got to see the foundations for 3 buildings.
What I wish was different
More time, since this was a summer internship I was limited in the amount and the difficulty of certain assignments.
Advice
Balfour Beatty is a very good company, they even have a final presentation at the end to showcase how much you learned in the summer and have the opportunity to earn a scholarship.

I enjoyed the mixture of experiences and exposure to different site phases within Preconstruction and getting to know everyone on site

Less drinking at company events

Never be afraid of taking a challenge on or to earn something new or difficult. No effort is wasted. You'll know why what you are doing is important in the end.
