Ticket operations

May 2019 • Miami, FL

What I liked

The work environment was great and I shared it with wonderful co-workers and managers.

What I wish was different

I would've liked to work more hours but I understand that I only worked when there was a home game.

Advice

It is a great working environment with great people, but be prepared to be available to work every game.

Sales and Services

April 2019 • Miami, FL

What I liked

I loved the energy that each department had to offer throughout my entire experience with the Marlins. From the job fair that they attended to the actual hiring process the human resources team was continuously supportive in getting me my position. It was my first job and they were very willing to help me in anything I didn't understand right away and always explained or answered my questions thoroughly. Once my actual work began all of my supervisors were welcoming and showed genuine desire to have me on the team. They were also very supportive in helping me develop my skills and comprehension of inside sales and I had different takeaways from each of them.

What I wish was different

I truly wouldn't have changed a thing while working in the Marlins sales department. I was greatly satisfied with my experience and definitely plan to return next season.

Advice

Always focus on the positive. If you're going to work in any customer service position, remember that your first priority is to keep the customer happy. Listen to your superiors and be eager to learn along the way.
