Mechanical Engineer and Electrical Engineer
We are looking for mechanical and electrical engineers to be able to design drawings for certain tooling for hydraulic, pneumatic and mechanical machines for our aviation repair shop. Students can either opt to be part time or full time for this internship and their mentor will be Daniel Cuesta who is our General Manager.
Learning outcomes from this internship will give them the knowledge of the aviation business, students will learn about the parts on the aircraft that they are designing the drawings for, they will learn about difference in tooling needs to support hydraulic and pneumatic items, they will gain knowledge and experience in knowing how to design drawings and tooling for hydraulic, pneumatic and mechanical machines, they will learn about the different aspects of the mechanical and engineer side, they will gain knowledge about the machinery used to test the aircraft parts they are building tooling for and this internship can end up in future full time employment.
The duties for this internship will entail the student to work with the machinist in making the drawings needed for different types of aircraft parts and they will work on building tooling for the different types of mechanical machines used for our hydraulic and pneumatic aircraft parts.The time frame for the internship is open to around 6 months to a year and then opportunity for full time employment.
