Substitute Teacher/Paraprofessional for the 2021-22 School Year
Substitute Teachers and Paraprofessionals - This posting is for the 2021-2022 school year.
POSITION OVERVIEW:
Under direction of the Building Principal, the Substitute provides appropriate learning experiences for students. Provides an atmosphere and environment conducive to the intellectual, physical, social and emotional development of individuals to ensure Success for Every Student. Supervises students in a variety of school related settings. Monitors appropriate use and care of equipment, materials and facilities.
We will be reviewing applications and contacting individuals. It may take a few weeks before you are contacted.
When contacted you will be required to provide the items below:
Completed Employment Packet - You will receive an email, asking you to login to Frontline Central to complete required paperwork for payroll.
In addition to the employment packet, you will need:
- Delaware and FBI criminal background check (less than one year old) - Please note a new one is required each year unless you substitute more than 45 days a year.
- TB Test Result (less than one year old)
- Social Security Card (required for State of Delaware payroll)
- Identification to satisfy I-9 requirements.
- Evidence of Certification for Class A Substitutes or
- Evidence of Degree of Diploma

Rate of Pay:
Class A Substitute - Certified Teacher - $128 a day
Class B Substitute - Bachelor's or Higher Degree - $103 per day
Class C Substitute - High School Diploma - $82 per day
