The Bureau of Local Government and School Services is looking for an extraordinary auditor who likes to analyze data, conduct research, solve difficult problems, and review internal controls. - Reviewing information from various sources to determine if local units have collected and/or captured the correct amounts.
- Corresponding or interacting with local units and their representatives.
- Determining and preparing Accounts Receivable and Interest Receivable reports for supervisor's review.
- Working on special projects.
Some other job duties that the ultimate candidate would perform are conducting reviews of local governments to ensure each local unit has complied with statutes regarding the collection and disbursement of the state share of real and personal property taxes.
