Intern Position

Coastal Systems International, Inc. (Coastal Systems) is a multidisciplinary consulting engineering and environmental firm with over 20 years of experience, specializing in waterfront projects throughout Florida and the Caribbean. Coastal Systems works with both public and private clients to provide solutions to complex problems.

 

Coastal Systems is searching for interns studying the environmental science, engineering, urban planning, architecture and/or economic fields to assist the firm with Research & Development efforts. Topics of concentration are drone mapping, big data collection, coastal resilience, urban planning/architecture in the midst of climate change, renewable energy, water quality and other changing environmental conditions, and the economic effects of climate change.

 

Interns will gain first-hand experience and knowledge of the professional consulting industry and work hand-in-hand with project managers. Interns will collaborate with the team to obtain a deeper understanding of the environmental concerns affecting our communities and assist in developing solutions.

 

We are searching for bright, enthusiastic applicants who are most interested in learning more about the environmental and engineering industry, and are willing to participate as a junior member of design teams involved in project implementation.
