Entry Level Field/Office Engineer - Underground District

Position Overview:
Our mission is to make a difference and we offer opportunities for you to make one too through our construction operations. Whether we’re boring tunnels through mountains, turning rivers into energy or building bridges that connect communities, we depend on our passionate, skilled, and safety-obsessed construction professionals to get it done right.
As a Field/Office Engineer, you bring your big ideas, commitment to top quality, and an unwavering work ethic. In return, we offer huge career and travel opportunities and the satisfaction of building the next big thing from the ground up. There’s a reason Kiewit attracts the best: we offer fast-paced excitement and fulfillment you won’t find anywhere else.
District Overview:
The Underground District has been constructing underground facilities (tunneling, deep foundations) since 1949, and has completed more than 100 underground-related projects totaling more than $1B. Looking for hands-on, in-the-field road warriors who like to build (but also willing to do rotations in estimating) and who are eager to go where the work is- whenever/wherever we need.
We are looking for people pursuing one of the following college majors: Civil Engineering, Mining, Geotechnical Engineering, and Construction Management. These Entry Level Engineers will be required to perform engineering work in connection with a wide range of underground and foundations projects that range in size, difficulty, and duration. Entry Level Engineers will be involved in the district estimating unit at various points in a career, which involves quantity takeoffs, site visits, estimating the work, sitting in on estimate reviews and bid close-out.
