Software Engineer

SOFTWARE ENGINEER
We are seeking an experienced Software Engineer with at least 8 years of C++ development experience to join our growing organization.
In this position, you will be responsible for building/maintaining a windows desktop database application. The Application is a realtime DBMS system that manages complete office and shop production process workflow with full time estimating and tracking.
Your primary responsibility will be to design and develop this application, and to coordinate with the rest of the team working on different layers of the infrastructure.
Duties and Responsibilities
·        Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable C++ code
·        Implement performance and quality modules
·        Identify bottlenecks and bugs, and devise solutions to these problems
·        Help maintain code quality, organization, and automatization
Required skills
·        Strong proficiency developing applications using C++ , with knowledge and experience using SQL /mySQL / Oracle
·        Thorough knowledge of the standard library, STL containers, and algorithms
·        Experience with Visual Studio development platform
·        Good understanding of memory management in non-garbage collected environments
·        Knowledge of SQL database language and relational DB design.
·        Understanding of dynamic polymorphism and C++ specific notions, such as friend classes
·        Familiarity with templating in C++
·        Experience using JavaScript and Phone development exposure would be an added advantage.
Education
Degree in Computer Science
Work Environment
·        This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
·        This is a full-time position, and hours of work and days are generally Monday through Friday, 8 am to 5 pm.
