POSITION: Construction Internship (Summer 2019)
POSITION SUMMARY:
Baxter & Woodman has a rewarding opportunity for a Construction Intern in our West Palm Beach, FL office starting May 2019 – August 2019. This on-the-job experience will support the firm’s construction department with the construction of a variety of water, wastewater, stormwater and roadway facilities, and offer the opportunity to work directly with firm clients.
POSITION DUTIES:
- Construction Project Meetings
- As-Built Plan Review
- Construction Administrative Assistance
- Observations
REQUIREMENTS:
- Ongoing pursuit of a 4-year degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering or Construction Management
- Maintain a minimum grade point average of 3.0 or higher
- Available to start May 2019
- Ability to travel throughout Palm Beach County (must have own vehicle)
- Work in an team environment
- Strong written, verbal, computer and organizational skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
