Entry Level Structural Engineer - Aerospace & Defense Practice

We are currently seeking an Entry Level Structural Engineer for our Aerospace & Defense Practice.   
 
This position will be responsible for the structural design of buildings and have the ability to perform detailed engineering calculations and aid in the development of drawings. This individual will be required to communicate and coordinate activities with other disciplines including architecture, mechanical, plumbing, and electrical.
 
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering, with a structural emphasis, from an ABET accredited university
  • 0-4 years working experience in the structural engineering field.
  • Basic knowledge of civil engineering principles and practices as related to structural design, systems, calculations, along with application of engineering methods and construction methods and materials.
  • Strong problem solving and analytical skills
  • Experience with design of concrete, steel, masonry and wood structures a plus
  • Skilled in the use of computers, structural design and analysis software a plus
  • Due to the nature of client projects, US citizenship or permanent legal residency is required.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • EIT Certification
  • Working experience with AutoCAD and/or REVIT
  • Prior internship experience
