Civil Engineer Intern

POSITION SUMMARY
The Civil Engineer Intern main responsibility will be to support the Superintendent in the completion of various tasks of the project and will assist with the following tasks:

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
·        Coordination of construction activities among various trades throughout process
·        Maintenance and enforcement of safety requirements and housekeeping rules as needed
·        Support on work related to construction documentation (drawings, Spec, subcontractor scope of work)
·        Interact with Ownership & Design Team as needed in order to support the Superintendent
·        Coordination of drawings to complete work on various trades
·        Management of RFI’s and submittals
·        Among other engineering duties as needed

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
·        Candidate must be studying for a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field
·        Ability to write detailed reports using Microsoft products.
·        Candidate must be extremely detail oriented and have great organization skills
·        Critical thinking and analytical skills a must
·        Strong oral and written communications skills
·        Knowledge of Microsoft Office
