Engineering Intern (Part-Time) | APX ENGINEERING GROUP, LLC

This is an entry-level position where candidates must be able to accomplish tasks assigned with some training and supervision to include, but not limited to:

1. Telecommunication Tower Analyses and Retrofit Designs.

2. Existing Rooftop and Ground-Mounted Equipment Platform Analyses.

3. New Rooftop and Ground-Mounted Equipment Platform Designs.

4. Perform Structural Surveys of Existing Structures.

5. Perform Field Inspections.

6. Prepare Calculation Reports and Jurisdiction Comment Responses.

7. Basic Understanding of Electrical and Grounding Systems.

8. Drafting plans and details in AutoCAD.

This position will include learning the tasks above under the supervision of Professional Engineers in a design office environment to gain engineering knowledge outcomes of steel design, concrete design, foundation design, design load determination, drafting/details, and other Code provisions. Students will need to be available to work a minimum of 20 hours per week.

This is a part-time position (20+ hours per week), which is available immediately and will last for a minimum of twelve weeks. The employment duration can be extended based on availability and performance.
