Facilities Technician or Facilities Engineer

NCCI is looking to hire at the Facilities Engineer, Senior Technician or Technician level (one vacancy). The position will be based in our Corporate Office in Boca Raton, Florida.
 
WHAT YOU WILL DO IN THIS POSITION:
As part of NCCI’s Facilities team, you will ensure assets are maintained to achieve maximum useful life and safe operation by supervising or performing various tasks in the installation, repair, maintenance, and operation of electrical, mechanical and life safety systems throughout the facility. Has direct oversight of vendors on assigned projects and coordinates scheduling, construction and equipment modification for renovation and new construction projects.

WHAT YOU MUST BRING TO THE ROLE:
Facilities Technician qualifications include a High School Diploma/GED and experience with commercial facility maintenance or related skilled building trade or certified educational trade program and experience with disaster recovery. Candidates must be able to lift 50 lbs., have intermediate computer skills to learn and work with the building automation systems and maintain safe work practices/environment. Candidates must be able to read building blue prints and specifications and have knowledge of commercial building operating systems and skills in plumbing, electrical, Heating Ventilation Air Conditioning (HVAC), energy management, life safety, general repairs and carpentry, painting, finishes and light construction practices.

Senior Facilities Technician qualifications include a High School Diploma/GED and experience in facility maintenance or in construction industry as an HVAC mechanic or controls technician. Candidates should have knowledge of building operation systems and ability read and understand blueprints. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Energy management, building automation and facility management software applications and proven technical problem-solving abilities and vendor management skills. It is preferred that candidates have Building Owners and Management Association (BOMA), Professional Designation SMA (Systems Maintenance Administrator) or SMT (Systems Maintenance Technical).
 
Facilities Engineer qualifications include a High School Diploma/GED and significant experience in facility maintenance or in construction industry as an HVAC mechanic or controls technician. Candidates must have experience in Facilities Physical Plant preventative maintenance and repairs, Energy Management and Building Automation Systems. Candidates must also have knowledge of building systems operation and ability to read and understand blueprints of HVAC, mechanical and electrical equipment and proven technical problem-solving abilities and vendor management skills, as well as proficiency in Microsoft Office, Energy Management, Building Automation and Facility Management Software applications.

We require a drug screen and background check.
This role will also require an MVR check.
