Collaborate Cross-Functionally & Impact Continuous Improvement and Capital Projects in a Newly Added Manufacturing Engineer role.

If you’re a manufacturing engineer with a Lean background, experience in plastics and extrusion (highly preferred), and a data-driven mindset, the role of Manufacturing Engineer with Boral Building Products offers some compelling opportunities. 

In this position, you will take ownership of a newly added, high impact role and help drive continuous improvement initiatives, lead high-value capital projects, and support cost reduction and our exceptional commitment to safety.


Reporting to the Plant Manager, as the Manufacturing Engineer, you will be responsible for managing a variety of important projects that will make an impact on safety, quality, process improvement and cost savings. For example, you will be working with vendors on new automation for current production and new products, cell layouts, Kaizen events, equipment specifications, and continuous improvement activities. You will help our facilities solve problems that will directly influence our overall success.

Enjoy visibility in and outside of the Elkland, PA plant as you work cross-functionally with plant leadership, our Lean implementer, process engineer and others.
