Engineering Product Development - Early Career - TRACK - Controls Engineer
Responsibilities
- Design, Develop and test feature behavior and interaction between controls hardware and controls software
- Data Analysis and research to define feature physical requirements
- Create models that describe system functionality
- Assess capability and regulation of feature integration into the vehicle
- Test/evaluate correlation of model to the physical system
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science or Mechanical Engineering from an accredited college or university
Or
-Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science Mechanical Engineering from an accredited college or university
-Must have a minimum of a 3.0 cumulative GPA on a 4.0 scale
-Preferred graduation date: Fall 2019, Spring 2020
-Able to work fulltime, 40 hours per week

-Demonstrated knowledge and application of Controls Engineering Principles. (EX: Systems interactions, automation, dynamic system design,Controller feedback design, neural network controls, perception, sensor fusion, path planning, localization, behaviors, or vehicle dynamics)
-Demonstrated control system knowledge and connection to the physical requirements
-Demonstrated application of systems methodology,
-Efficient use of MATLAB/Simulink
