Engineer (Instrumentation)

Education:  Bachelor's Degree in Engineering in appropriate area of specialization or related discipline from an accredited college/university.

Months/Years of Experience: Must possess a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering in appropriate areas of specialization or related discipline from an accredited college/university and six (6) years of experience performing engineering duties in designing, constructing, and testing aircraft, missiles, and spacecraft; and conducting basic and applied research to evaluate adaptability of materials and equipment to aircraft design and manufacture; or a Master's Degree in Engineering in the appropriate area of specialization or related discipline from an accredited college/university and four (4) years of applicable experience.

Duties: Instrumentation Engineer will utilize test instrumentation to evaluate and test U.S. Military tactical systems to include aviation systems, missile systems and ground systems. Coordinate and support technical interaction with customer to translate the requirements into components and designs enabling RF testing.

Required Qualifications: U.S. Citizenship. Must have or be able to acquire a security clearance. Experience with FPGA and microprocessor programming. Six (6) plus years in circuit and PCB design. Understanding of methodology and practical implementation of Radio Frequency (RF) hardening of test instrumentation. Understanding of Army E3 requirements including knowledge of standards such as MIL-STD-464 and MIL-STD-461. Experience in high-speed digital circuitry design, simulation, and prototyping. Experience in the design, prototyping, and test of radio frequency (RF) circuitry including filters, antennas, and amplifiers. Hands-on experience in the design, parts selection, prototyping, and test of analog and digital circuitry. Hands on with SMD 0402 using a microscope.

Desired Qualifications: Ability to read and interpret documents such as drawings, wiring diagrams, parts lists, technical manuals, specifications preferred.
