This is a full-time intern position located in Greensboro, NC. The position will be temporary in nature and last approximately 3 months (May-August, 2020).
SUMMARY
Qorvo is looking for a mechanical engineering student to work with the Global Test Services group to work with our mechanical and advanced electrical group to design, document, build, and release new hardware for test solutions.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Perform drawing updates as need in Solidworks
- Do mechanical design under the direction of a staff engineer
- Assist technicians in building new designs as needed
- Perform research for sourcing of standard components
- Must be highly focused and able to complete tasks as assigned
- Must be able to work between functional groups
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work in teams and collaborate effectively with people in different functions
- Must have a 3.0 GPA or higher
- Currently pursuing a BS, Mechanical Engineering Degree
NOTE: Because this is a student internship, candidate must be a currently enrolled student in a degree-seeking accredited program.
