Marketing and Proposal Coordinator

Job Overview: 
The Marketing and Proposal Coordinator assists in the development of marketing proposals, which may include ensuring that documents are secure and in line with company standards, facilitating the proposal review process, and guiding the production of the final draft.  The Marketing Coordinator assists in developing proposals and statements of qualifications in response to requests for proposals or qualifications (RFPs/RFQs), as well as PowerPoint presentations, and other written and/or designed marketing materials for engineering services to meet requirements and deadlines of clients. The Marketing Coordinator will also coordinate and assist with the marketing activities of a product or business line which may include advertising, direct mailing, printing, customer events, and trade shows. 

Prospective candidate must have a minimum comprehensive Marketing or related field experience of at least 2 years.

Responsibilities of this role include but are not limited to:
·       Primary point of contact for internal customers initiating work within the department or checking the status of jobs already in progress
·       Assists with the daily operation of the marketing department, ensuring smooth and efficient workflow
·       Keeps promotional materials ready by coordinating requirements with graphics department; inventorying stock; placing orders; and verifying receipt of orders
·       Researches competitive products by identifying and evaluating product characteristics, market share, pricing, and advertising; maintaining research databases
·       Hands-on involvement in a variety of marketing logistics, including event production through booth scheduling and shipping, collateral coordination and premium ordering
·       Assists in identifying and analyzing competitors
·       Prepares reports by collecting and analyzing sales data
·       Collaborates with other departments and order to produce exceptional promotional materials
·       Consistently generate clear product marketing copy
·       Organize promotional activities for new product and service launches
·       Assists with the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual forecasts
·       Coordinates staff promotional events as needed



Required Education and Experience:

The Ideal Candidate shall possess the following Minimum Qualifications:
 
·       Bachelor’s degree in marketing or relevant field
·       2+ years of related experience

Skill Requirements:

Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Google Analytics, Content Management Programs, and Email and Marketing Software.  Self-motivated. Ability to manage and perform in a multi-tasking environment.  Work creatively with limited resources.  Experience with tight deadlines for managing projects. Ability to work on multiple projects/deadlines simultaneously and able to complete work to deadlines with little direct supervision.  Excellent verbal and written skills.
