Junior DevOps Engineer
MThree is currently hiring for one of the hottest areas of growth within technology teams, as a Junior DevOps Engineer. This role puts selected candidates right in the heart of technology teams by supporting with platform modernization, DevOps adoption, increasing efficiencies with CI/CD, supporting development teams and near-term plans to migrate data and applications to the Cloud.
DevOps Engineers play a key role in the organization by being the interface between development and operations teams. Good communication skills are essential as they will be used daily to understand problems and deliver solutions. The ideal candidate for this role will be passionate about learning and continuously improving their work and the work of those around them.
Some of the skills you will use in this role:
· Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (with tools like Jenkins, ANT, Maven, Artifactory, Gradle, Sonar)
· Automation, Configuration Management (Puppet, Chef, Ansible)
· Scripting, monitoring, alerting
· Version control (Git, SVN)
· Containers and Container Orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes)
· Systems administration for Linux and Windows Server
· Log aggregation tools (Elastic, Logstash, Kibana ELK)
· Deployment of software builds and server deployments
· Support for QA teams and Application Developers
· Agile and SCRUM methodologies
Experience:
· Linux and Windows scripting languages (Bash, PowerShell, Batch)
· Linux and Windows Server knowledge
· Relational databases such as MS SQL and MySQL
· Understanding and passion for software development
