Social Media Manager

Role: Social Media Manager
Location: Miami, FL
Job Type: Paid Internship
This is an internship that does offers a stipend and incentives. You are required to receive academic credit for your participation in this internship program.

Hours: Mon to Fri – TBD – 10 - 20 Hours per week

Position Overview/Job Description:
We are in search of a social media manager to assist us around 10-20 hours per week for the duration of the 3 months to potentially a year. You will work directly with our Marketing Director.
Manage social media marketing campaigns and day-to-day activities including: Develop relevant content topics to reach the company's target customers. Create, curate, and manage all published content (images, video and written). Monitor, listen and respond to users in a “Social” way while cultivating leads and sales.

You will perform special projects, research, and other tasks as assigned, including social media platform management:
·        Create, design, and execute daily digital content
·        Engage with current and prospective clients and followers on social accounts
·        Create engaging content updates through unique posts (preferably in Spanish); conduct market research and provide actionable insights
·        Stay on top of social media platforms and trends; generate ideas on how to increase brand and social media awareness (preferably in Spanish)
·        Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements are:
·        Enrolled in a Marketing or Digital Marketing Course
·        Excellent written and spoken English and Spanish
·        Detail-oriented, organized, advanced computer skills and Adobe Suite
·        Able to prioritize and work efficiently and accurately (meet deadlines and complete assignments on time)
·        Fluent in social media marketing and video editing and production
·        Able to edit videos and translate blogs, tweets, LinkedIn, FB posts
·        Strong internet research skills
·        Excellent customer service (high energy, outgoing, enthusiastic)
·        Able to learn quickly and adapt as needed (willing to take on new tasks as business needs change)
·        High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
·        Self-motivated and capable of working with minimal supervision and direction
·        Works well in a team setting

Outcomes:
·        Intern will have knowledge of real world Financial Services Industry; marketing experience
·        Be exposed to expansion projects related to growing the company
·        Be able to learn from the leader of the industry

This is a paid internship. You are required to receive academic credit for your participation in this internship program. We will discuss an incentive plan with the right applicant.
