Multidisciplinary Position - Engineer

Major duties: Apply professional engineering knowledge, skills, abilities and techniques in preparation of cost estimates.

Applicant will be trained to perform the required tasks. Position involves applying a broad knowledge of engineering disciplines in determining project costs. Projects include vertical construction, civil works, hazardous and toxic waste remediation, hydrant fueling, and more. Projects are located world-wide.

Position requires a practical knowledge of and skill in applying basic engineering principles to standard and non-standard situations and designs. Ability to interpret drawings, plans, and specifications. Position requires the employee to work largely independently to carry out assignments, consult with others to verify determinations, and resolve commonly encountered work problems and deviations by exercising judgment in selecting appropriate instructions, policies, guidelines, or accepted practices
