Production Engineering - Fall 2020 Co-op

We are seeking Fall 2020 co-ops to work in our North American Production Engineering Division. The Production Engineering co-op position will be in one of the following locations: Georgetown, KY, Huntsville, AL and/or San Antonio, TX. The deadline to be considered is Friday, February 7, 2020.

K E Y  R E S P O N S I B I L I T I E S
The Production Engineering Division is responsible for designing and building assembly lines, machines and factories that build Toyota vehicles, engines and transmissions. Production Engineering also leads new model introductions across the region through planning, procuring, installing, trialing and launching assembly lines.

As a Production Engineering co-op, you are given between 1-3 projects to manage and complete over your co-op term. You will be working in a team environment and on projects that provide value to the organization and provide you with a true insight into the role of a Toyota Analyst Team Member. A mentor will be assigned to work closely with you, providing guidance over your projects and assisting you in achieving your personal and professional goals for the term. 

Co-ops will be assigned to one of the following departments: 
•      Powertrain Engineering
•      Plant & Environmental Engineering
•      Maintenance & Spare Parts
•      Plastics
•      Paint
•      Safety
•      Internal Logistics Engineering
•      Vehicle Planning & Production Engineering
•      Digital Engineering, Planning & Development
•      Stamping
•      Body
 
Required Qualifications
•      Must be currently enrolled in a full-time, accredited bachelor’s or above degree program studying engineering in one of the following disciplines or related field: Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering
•      Must be available to relocate
•      Must be 18 years of age or older
•      Have lawful unlimited authorization to work in the U.S. without sponsorship
•      Seeking sophomores and juniors that would be available to work fall term with a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher (at time of application and during the co-op)
•      Must demonstrate a genuine interest in and willingness to work in the automotive / mobility industry post-graduation
•      Must have reliable transportation
