Mechanical Engineer
Who and What:
At BASK, we solve problems. BASK designs and manufactures products in the insect control industry and soon in the marine industry, mostly relating to safety & control. We are a young and growing startup business, looking for a few good people to join and grow with us.
Here at BASK we wear many hats in order to increase productivity and work efficiently as a team.
We are seeking an Engineer who:
- will communicate and work effectively with other team members to complete projects
- will interpret engineering drawings in 2D & 3D
- will design and create engineering drawings in 2D & 3D for prototyping and manufacturing
- will analyze and design around existing components and assemblies in CAD
- has strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- understands technical language in the engineering field
- has knowledge or able to learn to operate and maintain 3D printers, lasers & more
- will be instrumental in the process of product development
- will multi-task between different projects
- will recognize and respond to needs outside their typical duties
Education Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
Experience & Skills:
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Proficient in 3D CAD software (Solidworks required)
- Electrical Engineering knowledge is a plus
