Internship

ABOUT THE INTERNSHIP:
The Newry Intern is interested in exploring a career consulting for the summer by working with our project teams. Our work focuses on the intersection of technology and innovation. Typical projects might include discovering applications for a novel material, characterizing the market opportunity for a new product concept, or analyzing the competitive landscape of a B2B sales channel. 
As an intern, you’ll support our project teams with various phases of a consulting engagement. Typical activities might include:
  • Supporting primary research
  • Conducting secondary research
  • Engaging in data analysis
  • Synthesizing conclusions
  • Contributing to elements of a final deliverable
The internship is a paid, full-time position for Summer 2020. Start and end dates are flexible based on your campus calendar.

ABOUT YOU:
You have excellent academic credentials and are participating in a competitive program to earn a degree in economics, statistics, mathematics, business, physical sciences, or engineering. Your background demonstrates an understanding of advanced technology (such as highly engineered products, materials science, etc.) and/or business concepts, as well as the ability to understand the commercial potential of new products. You recognize that meeting the client’s needs is paramount to the success of the firm and you are considering a career in consulting.
With your demonstrated intellectual capabilities, you think strategically and creatively, and can identify critical business issues. You possess strong problem structuring abilities and demonstrate leadership in work planning. In addition to excellent general communication and interpersonal skills, you have a strong work ethic, an insatiable curiosity, and an unselfish team spirit to help guide you in your daily activities.
