Job Description
A rapidly growing Palm Beach County manufacturing/engineering firm is looking for a Manufacturing Engineer for its R&D facility. The firm specializes in design and manufacture of high-performance thermal barriers. As a member of our client's research and development team, you will be examining and recommending designs on applications that range from aero-space, hydrogen fuel cells, cryosurgical devices, down hole sensors, electric cooling and isolation and a wide variety of consumer products, automotive parts, military applications, and more.
Responsibilities and Duties
· Detailed design, analysis and testing of components
· Developing and executing design verification activities
· Developing new processes, methods and ways of working
· Interacting with clients to educate and win projects
· Document design inputs and outputs
· Validate design modifications
· Optimize design parameters
· Apply design guidelines

Qualifications and Skills
· Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field (BA/BS) from accredited four-year college or university
· 3-5 years of working experience is a plus
· Strong understanding of heat transfer principles and materials
· Significant experience with SolidWorks (3D modelling and machine drawings)
· FEA experience is desirable
· Innovative thinker and problem solver
· Any hands-on experience with prototyping would be desirable
