Ecommerce Creative Strategist

Job Description 

Reports To: 
Will report to the Creative Director

Content Team 
The Snow Agency needs a passionate, hands-on, forward-thinking Creative Strategist with the ability to analyze brands, their objectives, and platforms and present original, well-thought out, creatives. This role requires a collaborative, well-versed individual who is able to think and operate quickly and effectively. This individual has strong verbal, listening, and written communication skills and can clearly articulate ideas with confidence to senior management. Impeccable organizational skills and the hustler mentality will be a critical asset in this role. The Snow Agency is rapidly growing and is looking for someone who will not only show initiative but also takes pride in the work that they will produce. 

Responsibilities and Duties 
  • Be the liaison between our marketers and creative editing team to ensure quality control 
  • Strategize with clients and internal marketing teams to ensure best practices for our various clients is maintained 
  • Understand how to create content that translates into sales via paid advertising 
  • Finding and understanding social insights and inform creative development for the highest impact 
  • Partner with others throughout the agency to bring creative ideas to life in a style that converts.
  • Interact in FB content social groups and frequently update marketers as well as the creative team on new content examples they can implement 
  • Strategizing and writing creative content tickets via Happy Fox
  • Perform market research and competitor research for products and services 
  • Write copy for ads and landing pages 
  • Draft, edit and proofread ad copy for clarity, brand consistency, and cultural relevance
  • Curate, monitor, and evaluate the impact of brand campaigns 

Required Experience And Education 
  • Bachelor’s degree 
  • 1+ year of digital marketing experience

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Proficient in Adobe Creative Cloud photo and video editing software 
  • Ability to iterate and evolve concepts with constructive feedback.
  • Strong verbal, listening, and written communication skills; can clearly articulate ideas with confidence to senior management.
  • Understanding of the full marketing lifecycle and the ability to collaborate cross functionally with other teams
  • The ability to translate “business” to “creative” and back again.
  • Exceptional time management and organizational skills
  • Experience in creative writing

These are a plus if you have them:
  • A degree in Communications, Journalism, Graphic Design, Marketing PR or related field 
  • Client-facing professional marketing experience
  • Background in media studies and marketing strategies
  • Experience with writing ad copy
