Project Manager (Civil Engineer)
Project Manager (Civil Engineer):
The Project Manager is involved with the planning and coordination of several varied components of the heavy highway civil construction process. We are looking for someone with great experience on heavy civil jobs, multiple large bridge projects, and DOT contracts serving as a Project Engineer or Project Manager to assist with activities ranging from production, survey, quality, design engineering and environmental compliance.
Duties:
- Oversee the production process
- Ensure that the production is cost effective
- Estimate costs and setting the quality standards
- Assist in the selection and maintenance of equipment
- Monitor the production processes and adjusting schedules as needed
- Monitor product standards and implementing quality-control programs
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience of responsibility on similar heavy civil construction projects
- Bachelor degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Science, or equivalent
- Extensive computer experience (Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Good knowledge of building and civil construction planning
- Good communication (oral and writing) skills
