AutoCAD Designer

Jonathan T. Ricketts, Inc. is a Civil Engineering and Construction Management firm in Palm Beach Gardens, FL. Due to the ever increasing demand for our design and construction management services, we are looking for several individuals who have a strong desire to produce superior designs utilizing the latest in design technologies. Our firm provides services throughout Florida and the southeast from design and permitting to expert witness testimony. While we do significant work for our clients, we are a family friendly firm which allows our team the flexibility to accommodate family time during traditional work hours such as afternoon school practices for children or occasional family presence during the workday.

We are looking for an individual with a strong background or willing to learn AutoCAD Civil 3D and ArcGIS. This person will need to have three to five years of civil design experience including paving, grading, water, and sewer design. The right candidate must be able to leverage the full set of tools within the AutoCAD environment including profiles, alignments, cross-sections, assemblies, corridors three dimensional surfaces, and sheet set manager. Knowledge of surveying, legal descriptions, platting, TINs, annotative text, the use of RECAP, along with the standard construction practices of FDOT would all be an added plus. Must have the ability and the confidence to produce a full set of construction plans based on minimal guidance from the design engineers for a range of residential, commercial, marina, and golf course projects. Our firm leverages the latest technology, so a love for learning and sharing that knowledge in a team environment is a minimum requirement.
