Engineering Technician
Duties include preparing engineering designs and drawings using AutoCAD Civil 3D for water and Eagle Point for water, sanitary and storm sewer, hydraulic system and paving projects; researching utility easement locations, right-of-ways and property ownership; creating legal documents and drawings for right-of-way and easement acquisitions; preparing technical reports and presentation exhibits; and providing information to the public. An Associate degree, or equivalent, with course work in civil engineering, drafting or a related field and two years of relevant experience required. Must have excellent telephone etiquette and customer service skills and have, or be able to obtain, an appropriate Texas driver’s license. A résumé must be submitted with a completed application.
PAY GRADE GG13 / FULL RANGE $18.77 – $26.46 PER HOUR ($39,048 – $55,044 ANNUALLY)
