Fall 2020 Media and Communications Internship
Internship Description
- Part-time (10-15 hours weekly) during the school semester
- Remote
- Start and end dates are flexible
Qualification
- Must be a College Junior or Senior
- Excellent communication and public relation skills
- Self-directed and motivated
- Excellent work ethic
- Versatile
- Experience using Canon or Nikon cameras or the creative Adobe Suite would be helpful (but not required)
- Bilingual candidates (with at least conversational Spanish skills) are preferred but not required
Objective
To design, develop, and present creative content in aid of our partners at The Industrial Commons and its enterprises in order to communicate its mission and core values within our community. This media will be used on its social media platforms, Facebook and Instagram, as well as its websites. This is a large network, and we recommend familiarizing yourself with this organization before applying for this internship:

Internship Policies
- Must attend weekly check-ins with an Internship supervisor (virtual)
- Must attend three mentorship/review meetings throughout the term (virtual)
- Must design, develop, and present agreed upon projects and document this process
- Must maintain logs and time-sheets
Inability to comply with these policies will result in a termination of the internship.
