Procurement Team Lead
Background & Purpose of the Job
Represent Procurement as the key interface both internally & externally while supporting the launch of new innovative products as well as 5S savings projects and quality + service. This role has direct reports and is the escalation point internal business partners and external suppliers as it relates to innovations, savings, quality, and service programs. Responsible for management of the P&L, project coordination/communication to key internal/external stakeholders and ensure on-time in full delivery of innovations. Reports to Category Procurement Operations Manager.
Who You Are & What You’ll Do
Manage direct reports by creating development plans, 1:1s, mentor opportunities and performance discussions.
Key contact to drive & manage P&L delivery within Procurement. Be able to connect the E2E Procurement team and day to day operations back to the P&L through 5S, DTV, etc. Opportunity to engage with cross functional leadership teams as it relates to progress of the P&L.
Manage key stakeholders related to project execution, such as R&D (raw/pack), Quality, SC Planning, Brand Development, Finance, Portfolio Procurement, Global Procurement and external supply base.
Identify & develop strategic initiatives across Procurement to unlock efficiencies, drive value creation, growth and gross margin improvement.
Drive supplier quality and service compliance in alignment with internal stakeholders to allow for the raw + packaging materials to be successfully covered into finished goods.
