They are proficient with Microsoft Excel; while not required, previous experience with social media platforms is a plus.

The internship is open to undergraduate students of all disciplines/majors. Interns are expected to work 35-40 hours per week, Monday through Friday; accommodations can be made for student’s class schedules.

Applicants must submit a cover letter, resume, and a brief statement answering the following:

The Women’s Congressional Policy Institute considers bipartisan women’s political leadership as its core value. Please note that current circumstances due to COVID-19 may require that WCPI delay, suspend, or cancel acceptance and review of applications in the event we must cancel the internship in its entirety. At this time, we are taking steps to help prevent the virus’ spread, while continuing the important work of bringing women policymakers together. Staff has transitioned to working from home, and all future events will adhere to the guidance of local and national health authorities.

Due to the number of applications we receive, we will not be able to contact individual applicants regarding the status of their applications or the internship program. We appreciate your understanding and patience, and we hope that you and your loved ones remain safe during this difficult time.
