Marketing Intern

American Safety Council is a leading national provider of training, certification, and compliance solutions across Workplace Safety, Driver Safety and Professional Education. ASC’s 100% digital platform serves millions of customers annually across more than 300 courses. Our industry-leading digital marketing team is looking for top-talent eager to learn valuable strategic, tactical, and platform knowledge across the following areas while helping us achieve ambitious business goals:

Pay-Per-Click Advertising
o Campaign Analysis – Assist PPC Managers in the analysis of campaign, ad group and keyword data
o Keyword research – Identify new keyword opportunities though analysis of Search Term Reports
o Advertising Copy – Generate new ad variations to be leveraged in testing/optimization
o Competitor analysis – Monitor pricing changes and competitive tactics and work with analysts to discern impact

Content Creation
o Social Media – Generate content to build and engage audiences for multiple national brands
o SEO – Perform keyword research and generate web content to draw in relevant organic clicks
o Design – Procure media assets (images, video) and develop infographics for utilization across channels for a variety of product 

Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO)
o Google Optimize – Learn different approaches to controlled testing (A/B, Multivariate, Holdout) and assist the team with implementation and analytics to drive performance improvement

Direct Marketing
o Campaigns – Develop an understanding of data-driven and automated email marketing and web personalization campaigns, and facilitate the buildout of segmentation logic by documenting relevant product metadata
o Data Hygiene – Manage CRM costs through customer engagement analysis and record purging

Analytics Foundations
o Google Tag Manager – Learn how to implement analytics tags and aid the team by diagnosing and repairing tags and triggers
o Business Intelligence – Leverage Google Analytics and Google Data Studio to identify tracking issues and other business anomalies
