What you need for success:
  • Enrollment in an accredited collegiate program
  • Maintains a 3.0 GPA or above
  • Excellent communication skills

Who You’ll Work With
As a Manufacturing Engineer Intern, you will have the opportunity to work with our Wolfspeed, LED or Global Operations Teams with the following responsibilities:

  • Identify improvement opportunities in work instructions and work with the documentation team to make necessary changes
  • Work with the Operations Engineering Tech team to troubleshoot quality systems
  • Assist in the rollout of new products including recording quality and throughput improvement opportunities
  • Ensure metrics are recorded at assembly lines including identification of data trends
  • Perform time studies resulting in rebalancing of lines
  • Additional projects focused on the improvement of safety, quality, and throughput as needed at the supervisor’s discretion
