Marketing Specialist
Position Summary
A Marketing Specialist, Brand is able to understand basic brand and marketing principles. This person is responsible for coordinating brand development and production of advertising and marketing materials to include TV/Online Video, Radio/Online Audio, Digital (Display, Email, Ecommerce) and Social creative. This person must be able to partner with a cross-functional team that may include, but not limited to, internal Ecommerce, Merchandising and Store Operations as well as agency teams.
Responsibilities
· Developing creative briefs for initiatives and/or campaigns to communicate business and communication objectives, positioning, requirements, and timeline/budget expectations
· Reviewing and providing feedback and approvals on messaging and visual creative to external agency partners and internal creative team
· Ensuring consistency in voice and visual creative throughout all communication touchpoints
· Become knowledgeable about AutoZone’s brand, products and services
· Project management skills to enable multiple projects running on time and on budget by tracking deadlines and collecting/organizing information
· Ability to identify areas of risk and exposure and presents alternative solutions
· Understands the impact of elements and processes as they relate to their functional area
· Assists in preparation for management reviews as required
· Able to execute oral and written instructions and request clarification when needed
Requirements
· BA/BS or equivalent in advertising, brand, communications, marketing or another related field
· Organizational and project management skills
· Proficient in the use of MS Office product suite – specifically Excel and PowerPoint
· Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal, with good presentation skills
· Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously
· Talented in problem-solving and understanding of business priorities
· Proficient in the use of MS Office product suite
· Bilingual (English/Spanish) considered a plus
